LOUISVILLE Ky. Casual-dining restaurant operator and franchisor Texas Roadhouse LLC, based here, has selected Steton software for the 282-unit chain's quality assurance and food-safety programs.
"A drop in food quality and safety measures is one of the fastest ways to destroy a brand. Steton's software and access to real-time reports will allow us to monitor and proactively target our training to certain areas," said Patrick Sterling, Texas Roadhouse director of risk and administration. "If an audit result falls below a pre-determined score, management is alerted immediately through Steton's automated system."
Sources at St. George, Utah-based Steton said the company's software accelerates audit routines through automation and elimination of paper processes. Among other functions, the application supports early trend identification, provides instant notification of noncompliant issues and helps manage corrective actions, they said.
