The big story from November is that CEOs are preparing for retirement. There were several announcements from both emerging and established brands that their CEOs would be departing for greener pastures soon.

El Pollo Loco’s CEO stepped down, as did Scooter’s Coffee’s CEO. Noodles & Company also lost its CEO, but not for retirement. Both El Pollo Loco and Noodles & Company are currently searching for permanent replacements.

In other news, Inspire Brands, Savory Fund, and Uncle Julio’s named new presidents. Uncle Julio’s also named a new CEO.

Sprinkles appointed a new chief operating officer. Checkers and Rally’s, Subway, and Shipley Do-Nuts all named new chief financial officers. Subway also named a new chief marketing officer.

Elsewhere, Dig named a new chief operating officer, Texas Roadhouse appointed a new chief communications officer, and Chipotle named a new chief human resources officer.
