GOLDEN Colo. Rick Arras has succeeded Michael Andres as president and chief executive of Boston Market following completion of the fast-casual chain's purchase from McDonald's Corp. by private-equity firm Sun Capital Partners Inc.

Terms of the previously announced deal were not disclosed

Andres left the company to return to McDonald's, Sun Capital said.

Arras has spent 28 years in the restaurant industry, including a stint as president and CEO of Shoney's Inc. and as chief operating officer of Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. He most recently served as president, CEO and partner of Wi-Tenn Restaurants LLC, a franchisee of the O'Charley's casual-dining chain.

Boston Market operates 600 restaurants in 28 states. Sun CapitalÍs other restaurant brands include Chevys Fresh Mex, Fazoli's and Bruegger's.
