DALLAS Starlette Johnson was named president of the 48-unit Dave & Buster’s Inc., replacing the chain's co-founder David Corriveau, whose resignation as president was disclosed earlier in March.

She previously served as chief strategic officer for the chain of large-scale restaurant-entertainment complexes.

Steve King, Dave & Buster's chief executive, said Johnson "has broad experience across the spectrum of strategy, operations, human resources and new store development, which will be critical to our future success."

Prior to joining Dave & Buster's, Johnson served as executive vice president and chief strategic officer for Brinker International. In that role, she was responsible for emerging concepts, which included On The Border and Corner Bakery. She had also served as senior vice president of human resources and vice president of strategic development.
