Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. has appointed Ginger Gregory chief human resources officer, the parent company of the Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurant chains said Monday.

In her new role, Gregory will oversee global employee recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, and organizational development. She also will co-chair Dunkin’ Donuts’ People’s Subcommittee, which develops programs to attract, hire and train restaurant managers and crew members.

Gregory will report to Dunkin’ Brands chief executive Nigel Travis. She replaces Christine Deputy.

“At Dunkin’ Brands, our goal is to offer an exceptional customer experience at our restaurants around the world, and that will only happen if we hire, develop and retain the best employees in the quick-service restaurant industry,” Travis said in a statement. “With her executive leadership skills and her passion for organizational development, Ginger is eminently qualified to help us achieve that goal and, as a result, drive the global growth of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins.”

Gregory has held executive-level human resources positions at several multinational companies across a variety of industries. Most recently, she led a global team of human resources employees at healthcare company Novartis International AG. Previously, she held positions at the healthcare companies Novo Nordisk and Bristol Myers Squibb. She also has served as a consultant to technology consulting firm Booz Allen & Hamilton.

“I am delighted to be joining Dunkin’ Brands, a company with two of the world’s best-loved brands and one of the premier franchising concepts in the world,” Gregory said. “I look forward to working with the company leadership and our franchisee community to attract and retain great talent for Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurants around the world.”

Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc., which is based in Canton, Mass., franchises more than 10,000 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants and 6,500 Baskin-Robbins ice cream shops around the world.
