WILBRAHAM Mass. Friendly Ice Cream Corp., which owns or franchises than 510 restaurants throughout the Northeast, has appointed Kevin McNamara to the newly created position of senior director for organization and management development.

McNamara will be responsible for management assessment and development, performance measurement, career development, human resource planning and management succession, and human resource related services for franchisees.

McNamara had been vice president of training for Dunkin' Brands for the past eight years. Prior to that he spent 20 years with Burger King Corp. where he began as a restaurant manager and was promoted to senior director and head of global training.
