Silver Diner Brands has promoted Glenn D’Amore to president. D’Amore has been with the company for 27 years, beginning as manager. He most recently served as chief operation officer, where he oversaw the transition to “fresh and local” sourcing, resulting in a 100% comp sales growth throughout the last 10 years, according to the company.

“Glenn has done so much for our multi-unit restaurant group, Silver Brands, and it was important to us to recognize his hard work and dedication. This well-deserved promotion not only acknowledges Glenn’s many company achievements but is also indicative of our company culture and philosophy to retain top talent and promote from within,” Giaimo said in a statement.

D’Amore graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in hospitality. He’s worked for Silver Diner since.

Silver Diner Brands owns and operates 24 restaurants throughout Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey, including Silver Diner, Silver, New American Brasserie, and Silver Social.
