Stacy Peterson, chief experience officer, Wingstop
Stacy Peterson is navigating Wingstop’s leadership position at the vanguard of digital ordering technologies in foodservice.
As the chief experience officer for the 1,200-unit chain, she is helping drive increased sales and profitability by facilitating online ordering through the use of chatbots and artificial intelligence. Last year Peterson brought voice-based ordering to the Dallas-based company through a partnership with Amazon’s Echo devices, and Wingstop recently unveiled plans to roll out delivery nationwide through its partnership with DoorDash.
“The future of dining is delivery,” Peterson said.
Wingstop said it sees ongoing opportunities to leverage digital ordering and customer relationship management technologies to drive increased sales.
To that end Wingstop is in the process of rebuilding its app and website to improve the customer experience and optimize opportunities in delivery, and is also working to convert dial-in customers to the digital experience using AI.
“Under Stacy’s leadership, we continue to innovate and bring new technologies to the table first, before everybody else,” said Charlie Morrison, chairman and CEO, in an interview with financial news site Cheddar.com.
