More than 3,200 food and restaurant industry professionals attended the annual Women’s Foodservice Forum conference this month in Dallas.

This year’s leadership conference, themed “Limitless,” featured a variety of educational sessions and keynote speakers who offered tips and inspiration for women looking to advance their careers and close the gender equity gap.

“We now have the research on how to break down barriers and build bridges to women’s advancement,” WFF president and CEO Hattie Hill said in a welcome letter to kick off the four-day event. “We understand the critical importance of both developing women who are prepared to lead and developing organizations where women can thrive.”

This year, WFF recognized 43 Change Makers and 37 Titans of the foodservice industry. Change Makers were women described as future industry leaders, while Titans were recognized for creating advancement opportunities for women in their companies and the industry.

“Our industry’s most influential leaders are engaged, committed and on board.

They have moved gender equity to the top of their agendas, making it a critical priority and tracking progress against that goal,” said Hill, who announced her retirement at the end of the conference
