Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) announced a series of four workshops throughout September that will virtually connect C-suite executives with emerging leaders to share personal insights, lessons learned and leadership strategies.

Current and former executives from Yum Brands who have had a direct impact on growth and inclusivity within the company will present the workshops.

Since 1989, WFF, based in Dallas, has been the food industry’s thought leader and voice on gender equity, with the mission of accelerating women’s advancement in the industry. The Legacy Series will continue that focus, but now for a digital world and an industry that’s overwhelmed with new challenges thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

Women's-Foodservice-Forum-president-CEO_Therese_Gearhart.gif“As the food industry rises to meet unique challenges with innovation, resourcefulness and optimism, the opportunity to learn directly from some of our most influential leaders will be career-changing for participants and culture changing for their organizations,” said WFF President and CEO Therese Gearhart, left.

Current and former executives from Yum Brands who have had a direct impact on growth and inclusivity within the company will present the workshops. Yum Brands is known for its iconic global brands — Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC and The Habit Burger Grill — and also its company culture, which invests in equity.

Leaders of the sessions include retired Yum Brands CEO Greg Creed with two workshops (Smart, Heart and Courage and his top ten leadership lessons) and current Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer James Fripp with one (Inclusive Leadership). Later in the month there will be a moderated conversation on Leadership Lessons in a Crisis with Yum Brands CEO David Gibbs and Chief Transformation and People Officer Tracy Skeans. More details, the schedule and registration info can be found on WFF’s website.
