Brinker International Inc. on Friday reported that net income fell slightly to $46.4 million during its June 26-ended fourth quarter. The Dallas-based parent to the Chili’s Grill & Bar and Maggiano’s Little Italy concepts said results excluded special items, such as the gain on the sale of its minority interest in Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
 

NET INCOME

Result: $46.4 million, or 67 cents per share
% Decrease: 1.4% (from $47 million, or 63 cents per share)

REVENUE

Result: $730.1 million
% Increase: 0.2% (from $728.4 million)

SAME-STORE SALES

% Decrease systemwide: 0.5%


% Decrease at Chili’s Grill & Bar: 0.3%


% Increase at Maggiano’s Little Italy: 0.2%
