GLENDALE Calif. Michael Mendelsohn was appointed vice president of finance at IHOP Restaurants, officials announced Wednesday.

Mendelsohn will lead the finance functions for the IHOP brand. He served previously as chief financial officer and executive vice president of information technology for Teleflora LLC, which provides products and services to retail florists. Prior to that, Mendelsohn held positions at Walt Disney Internet Group.

IHOP Corp. operates and franchises about 3,300 restaurants under the IHOP and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar brand names.
