NEW ORLEANS Raving Brands Inc. of Atlanta said today it has completed the sale of its 48-unit PJ’s Coffee division to New Orleans Roast LLC and New Orleans Brew LLC of Louisiana.

Terms of the deal, first announced in March, were not disclosed. Principals in the new ownership companies -- Paul, Steven and Scotty Ballard -- also own the 53-unit Wow Cafe & Wingery concept of Covington, La., as well as five franchised PJ’s Coffee stores.

Raving Brands recently has sold two of its other concepts: Moe’s Southwest Grill to Focus Brands of Atlanta and Mama Fu’s Asian House to Murphy Adams Restaurant Group of Austin, Texas.

New Orleans Roast and New Orleans Brew plan to expand PJ’s Coffee’s franchise operations in Louisiana and the Gulf region.

Raving Brands bought PJ’s Coffee in 2002. The company's remaining restaurants are Planet Smoothie, Shane’s Rib Shack, Boneheads Grilled Fish and Piri Piri Chicken, Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads and Grill, and The Flying Biscuit Cafe. Raving's portfolio also includes Monkey Joe's, a party and play center for children.
