CHARLOTTE N.C. Bojangles’ Restaurants Inc., parent of the Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits quick-service chain, said Friday it had named Tony Hopson vice president of franchise operations.

In his new post, Hopson, who joined Bojangles’ in 2007, will be responsible for the 449-unit chain’s franchise growth.

Charlotte-based Bojangles currently has 290 franchised stores and 159 company-owned locations.
