DALLAS Brinker International Inc. has signed a franchise agreement to develop four On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantinas in South Dakota and Wyoming.

 

The development agreement with SDWYO LLC of Rapid City, S.D., calls for the restaurants to be completed by 2011.

 

 

"On The Border is a great brand and we are excited to bring it to the people of South Dakota and Wyoming," said Bryan Gonzalez, managing partner of SDWYO, which also operates Sanford's Pub and Grub in Colorado, South Dakota and Wyoming.

 

 

Dave Orenstein, president of On The Border, said, "SDWYO is an established restaurant operator, and we are pleased to be working with them on this development agreement."

 

 

Brinker currently has 140 On The Border units in 32 states. Other Brinker brands include Chili's Grill & Bar, Romano's Macaroni Grill and Maggiano's Little Italy.
