kelly-roddy-saladworks.gifOn Wednesday, Saladworks announced the appointment of Kelly Roddy, left, as CEO, effective Aug. 1. 

Roddy comes to Saladworks from Focus Brands-owned Schlotzsky's with big plans to build the brand. Saladworks, a fast-casual concept, opened in 1986, began franchising in 2001 and has grown to about 100 units.  

“I think the brand has been around long enough to know it has staying power. It's obviously got some core strength,” Roddy told NRN. “What really attracted me to the brand is it’s really well-positioned in the marketplace. Everyone is trying to get to where Saladworks is.”
