WICHITA Kan. Rage Inc., a 105-unit Pizza Hut franchisee based here, and three other Pizza Hut franchisees with an aggregate 106 units among them, are deploying SpeedLine Solutions' point-of-sale system.
The other Pizza Hut franchisees opting to use Lynden, Wash.-based SpeedLine's technology are Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne, Ind., with 45 restaurants, Tetra Management of Wichita, 34 units, and Kentucky Pizza Huts of Topeka, Kan., 27 locations.
"Compatibility and support for current technology were primary considerations" behind the selection of SpeedLine's product, according to Gina Hollingshead, Rage Inc. vice president of management information systems. "SpeedLine supports our unique systems, including the complex coupons that we offer. In addition, SpeedLine allows us to take advantage of new technology such as integrated online ordering and high-speed access and support."
Pizza Hut ofFort Waynedirector of information technology Kevin Espy said his group is "pleased by the system's reliability in our high-volume restaurants."
