HOUSTON The 120-unit Luby’s Cafeteria chain is cutting the price of its popular LuAnn Platter from around $8 to about $4 on Friday and Saturday nights this month.
The company is promoting the lower-priced platter -- which includes an entree, two sides and a roll -- as a “customer appreciation offer for 62 years of supporting Luby’s,” said company spokesman Rick Black.
The offer is available only for dine-in cafeteria customers after 4:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, the company said. Prices for the LuAnn Platter vary slightly by market.
