Philadelphia's new Apothecary Bar & Lounge serves up classic cocktails such as the Aviation and the Corpse Reviver No. 1, as well as a selection of "elixirs," drinks made with all-natural extracts, tinctures and bitters from fruits and herbs.

Apothecary also carries bottled cocktails. Not a mix, but rather based on bottled cocktails purchased for outings and picnics in the 19th century, the bottled cocktails already have a bit of a following at Apothecary with small groups of guests who enjoy the establishment's roof deck. The Baron Von Thrippleton Royal Polynesian bottled cocktail ($53) is a combination of aged rum, orange curaçao, falernum, hibiscus and lime.
