DUNFERMLINE SCOTLAND —A man who likes to pass the time, and some gas, at his favorite bar has been banned from the premises because of numerous complaints about his excessive flatulence.

According to a report in the Dunfermline Press, Stewart Laidlaw, 35, has been banished from Thirsty Kirsty’s indefinitely. Laidlaw said he was shocked over the complaints and subsequent ban. He did, however, concede that cigarette smoke in the bar probably concealed the odor—that is until Scotland recently banned smoking in enclosed public places. —A man who likes to pass the time, and some gas, at his favorite bar has been banned from the premises because of numerous complaints about his excessive flatulence.
