GREENWOOD VILLAGE Colo. Casual-dining chain operator and franchisor Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc., based here, in a new agreement has selected Radiant Systems Inc. to be its exclusive point-of-sale-system-hardware provider, the vendor said.

Sources at Alpharetta, Ga.-based Radiant said Red Robin will use the vendor's ruggedized, bright-screen P1520 touchscreen POS terminal with Intel Celeron M processor and integrated electronic payment capabilities. Red Robin, whose system features more than 375 company-operated and franchised restaurants in the United States and Canada, already uses Radiant's Aloha TableService POS software and its MenulLink program with inventory, profit-and-loss tracking and electronic data interchange functions, Radiant noted.
