NASHVILLE Tenn. Sagittarius Brands, based here, will continue to install QSR Automation's ePic Kitchen Management Solution in the company-owned restaurants of its Captain D's Seafood and Del Taco quick-service chains, the vendor said. The kitchen system also is approved for use by franchisees of Nashville-based Captain D's and Del Taco of Lake Forest, Calif.
"With an unrelenting focus on providing quality meals through efficient and friendly service, to us, technology is all about reliably and consistently driving speed of service," said Chris Crabtree, Captain D's vice president of information services. "With QSR's kitchen solution, we not only have a system that causes no worry, freeing us up to focus on our guests — we also have a customizable solution we can grow with."
The renewal agreement follows earlier multiyear relationships between the two Sagittarius Brands chains and Louisville, Ky.-based QSR Automations. The technology package at the center of the agreement includes ePic Kitchen Display Software, ePic video controller and KP-3000 keypad.
