Five years ago, Nation’s Restaurant News started its award-winning signature podcast, Extra Serving. Now, we’re part of a network of podcasts that includes Take-Away with Sam Oches, In the Kitchen with Bret Thorn, and First Bite.
In five years, hosts Holly Petre, Sam Oches, and Leigh Anne Zinsmeister – along with a rotating cast of the NRN editorial staff – have entertained and interviewed guests, joked with each other, and told you the latest news in the restaurant industry.
This year, NRN editors interviewed guests ranging from Charlie Morrison of Salad and Go to Tom Curtis of Burger King to Jim Holthouser of Focus Brands. The editors discussed the new California minimum wage bill, restaurant earnings, the potential sale of Subway, the blockbuster IPO debut of CAVA, and more.
