The business community doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to dealing with organized labor’s tactics. Unions are perennially on the offensive, spending members’ dues money to elect friendly politicians and using increasingly confrontational and legally questionable organizing gimmicks. Still, the best responses we can muster are halfhearted appeals to the National Labor Relations Board for “fairness” and “nonpartisanship.”
