COPPELL Texas CiCi’s Pizza, a 650-unit pizza buffet chain, has hired John W. Baldwin for the new position of vice president of real estate.

Baldwin, 45, most recently was with Starbucks Corp. and has worked with La Quinta Hotels and Valvoline Instant Oil Change.

Craig Moore, president and chief executive of CiCi’s, said growth plans required “a real estate executive who has the experience and skills to compete for the number of prime locations CiCi’s needs.”
