AUSTIN Texas The owners of Austin's 10-unit County Line barbecue chain have partnered with Bob Hauser, a co-founder of the Qdoba fast-casual burrito chain, to open an Italian buffet concept called Cannoli Joe's.

The 12,000-square-foot restaurant features 12 themed dining rooms and a 3,000-square-foot scatter buffet with 10 cooking stations.

The County Line-Hauser partnership, Austin Cannoli Joe’s Ltd., opened the new restaurant April 9 in a former Wolfe Nursery location here. Cost of the project was estimated at $4 million.

Executives with Austin Cannoli Joe’s said they may expand the concept elsewhere in Texas.
