SPARTANBURG S.C. Denny’s is looking to boost late-night dining sales with its first campaign targeting college students who are staying up late to study for final exams.

The campaign, which will run through May 6, is directed toward students in Austin, Texas, and Syracuse, N.Y., and offers them "Pick 3" appetizers for $9.99; a 20-percent discount on Saturday-night meals; free wi-fi; a text-message promotion; and an online sweepstakes with a Dell gift card and $50 Denny’s gift card as prizes.

Marketing support includes print ads in college newspapers, direct mail and banner ads on Facebook.com. Seven Denny’s units in the Austin area and eight in the Syracuse market are participating in the campaign.
