SPARTANBURG S.C. Denny’s Corp. said it would introduce on Monday an Everyday Value Slam breakfast for $3.99 at its more than 1,500 restaurants.

The offer, available throughout the month of June, is an extension of the chain’s Weekday Value Slam, which includes two eggs any style, two pancakes and a choice of bacon or sausage. Beverage is not included.

The chain’s original Grand Slam breakfast features four components, but the new promotion has three, including bacon or sausage.

“Consumers have told us they continue looking for a good value on a ‘real’ plated breakfast so we are rolling this every day, all day in June,” said Mark Chmiel, chief marketing officer for Denny’s.

Denny's said it is supporting the Everyday Value Slam with a network TV ad campaign that kicks off Monday.

John Dillon, Denny’s vice president of marketing, said if the promotion proves to be successful, the chain may consider continuing or revisiting it.
