CARROLLTON Texas T.G.I. Friday’s wants to be your boo -- especially if you are a bargain-hunting vampire, ghost, werewolf or any other costumed guest.

Next Thursday, Oct. 29, Friday’s will host what it calls “America's Largest Halloween Party," offering penny appetizers to costumed guests at the bar if they purchase a beverage. The promotion runs from 9 p.m. to closing time at nearly 600 participating Friday's restaurants in the United States.

“Who wants to wait until Friday to kick off their Halloween weekend?” asked Andrew Jordan, senior vice president of marketing for T.G.I. Friday's. “It's one of the biggest holiday parties of the year so it only makes sense for Friday's to start the fun. We're giving all superheroes, gladiators and celebrity-wannabes permission to get their ghost on early.”

Friday’s also will introduced a new Halloween drink for the occasion: The Pumpkin Pie Martini, made with rum, coffee liqueur, butterscotch schnapps and pumpkin spices and topped with whipped cream.

Friday’s, a division of Carlson Restaurants Worldwide, has more than 900 restaurants in 60 nations.
