LOS ANGELES Johnson Development Corp., the urban-development company led by basketball great Magic Johnson, has named foodservice veteran Eric Holoman president.

Among his stated responsibilities is managing the company's relationships with such restaurant partners as Burger King Corp., Starbucks Coffee Co. and T.G.I. Friday's parent Carlson Restaurants Worldwide Inc. Holoman will report to Johnson, who is chairman and CEO.

Holoman was previously president of Holoman Food Services Inc., described by Johnson Development as the operator of quick-service franchises in inner-city Los Angeles. He also has worked in the finance business, serving in high-level posts at Wells Fargo and Bank of America.
