DoorDash and Starbucks announced today that Starbucks delivery will now be available via DoorDash nationwide by March 2023. Although Starbucks delivery has been available nationally via Uber Eats since early 2020, the coffee giant has now expanded its partnership with DoorDash too.

“As customer behaviors evolve, we continue to innovate the Starbucks experience to connect with them through meaningful and valuable digital experiences,” Brooke O’Berry, Starbucks senior vice president of digital experiences said in a statement. “Our partnership with DoorDash allows us to provide our customers with another convenient way to enjoy Starbucks wherever they are. Delivery continues to be a significant growth opportunity for Starbucks, and we’re excited to reach more customers by partnering with DoorDash, a company known for their best-in-class service.”

DoorDash’s partnership with Starbucks began in select cities nationally in Atlanta, Houston, and Sacramento, and later Seattle, Portland, and New York City, and will now expand to new markets until it reaches all 50 states in March.

“Our partnership with Starbucks connects even more neighborhoods across the United States with their favorite beverages and bites,” Sanjay Kotte, head of strategic partnerships at DoorDash, said in a statement. “When you combine the quality of Starbucks handcrafted beverages and food with the logistics power and geographic scale of DoorDash, the result is extraordinary for coffee lovers nationwide.”

Starbucks will not be able to offer 100% of its menu on DoorDash (approximately 95%) but it will be able to offer syrup, milk, and roast customizations.
