CHICAGO —Feeling anything but wily, a weary, road-running coyote nonchalantly walked into a downtown Quiznos sandwich shop here and laid down in the restaurant’s open cooler, between the sodas and fruit juice, until animal control officers came to take the animal away 40 minutes later.

“It wasn’t aggressive at all,” said restaurant manager Bina Patel. “It was just looking around.” —Feeling anything but wily, a weary, road-running coyote nonchalantly walked into a downtown Quiznos sandwich shop here and laid down in the restaurant’s open cooler, between the sodas and fruit juice, until animal control officers came to take the animal away 40 minutes later.
