VANCOUVER Wash. The 39-unit Burgerville chain has named Janice Williams chief operating officer.
Williams, who joined the company in 1984 as a teenager working in one of the restaurants, replaces former COO Jeff Harvey, who was named president and chief executive officer in January.
Most recently, Williams led the creation of Burgerville’s Center for Responsible Community Leadership, where she redesigned the company’s management and training programs. She also has held the positions of director of professional development, portfolio manager, general manager and assistant manager.
