JACKSONVILLE Fla. Firehouse Restaurant Group based here, parent of the 268-unit Firehouse Subs chain, has promoted comptroller Vincent F. Burchianti to vice president of finance and technology. The company also named him to an executive post at Capital 94 LLC, the finance company for the sandwich restaurant operator and franchisor.

According to FRG officials, in his new role Burchianti oversees the accounting, reporting and technology departments, and maintains banking, investment and professional relationships. They said he also is responsible for annual and long-term business plans and five-year forecasting models for analysis of growth strategies and how they might impact the chain.

Burchianti, FRG's comptroller of six years, previously was an accounting consultant for Nathan's Famous Inc. and also has served as assistant controller for Miami Subs and regional accounting manager for Arby's Inc. A native of Miami, he has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
