DALLAS Pizza Hut is offering exclusive previews of the new “Terminator Salvation” movie on its website for fans who can’t wait for the May 21 opening. And on the film’s opening day, anyone with the names Sarah or John Connor can get a free pie.

Pizza Hut and Warner Bros. Pictures on Monday debuted a five-minute sneak peak of “Terminator Salvation” at pizzahut.com. The clip will be available through May 30.

Website visitors can also win prizes, ranging from a life-size Terminator T-600 model, custom Xbox consoles, video games, action figures and other licensed products. This is the fourth film in the “Terminator” franchise.

In addition to the online activities, Pizza Hut is “showing its support of the human resistance” by giving anyone named Sarah or John Connor — with the ID to prove it — a free one-topping medium pizza on the film’s opening day.

“We're teaming up with one the most popular action-movie characters ever created,” said Bob Kraut, vice president of marketing communications at Pizza Hut. “Pizza Hut's iconic red Hut may not be as intimidating as the Terminator's red eye, but pizza and movies are time-tested favorites and we're excited to offer this unique exclusive.”

Pizza Hut, a division of Yum! Brands Inc., has 6,200 restaurants in the United States and more than 4,000 restaurants in 100 other nations.
