SAN DIEGO Jack in the Box will introduce its new grilled sandwiches in an ad airing on Super Bowl Sunday.

The two new menu items include a turkey, bacon and cheddar sandwich and a Deli Trio, made with Genoa salami, sliced ham, roasted turkey, provolone, pickles and a creamy Italian sauce. Both are served on grilled artisan bread and sell for $3.99 each.

"With so much attention focused on the Super Bowl, especially among our core users, this is the perfect venue for Jack in the Box to launch two new innovative products that are unique to our segment of the restaurant industry," said Tammy Bailey, division vice president of menu marketing and promotions for San Diego-based Jack in the Box Inc. "Our new grilled sandwiches are the ideal choice for guests looking for variety from traditional fast-food fare."

Jack in the Box will join several chains advertising new products or promotions on Sunday, including Denny's, Taco Bell, McDonald's and Papa John's. Click here for a look at the various menu offerings and promotions restaurateurs nationwide have planned for Super Bowl Sunday.

The Jack in the Box system includes 2,200 corporate or franchised restaurants in 18 states.
