Now that customers are happily rediscovering the long-postponed pleasures of dining in restaurants, operators can tackle the challenge of keeping them coming back regularly.

Building a better beverage dispensing program can capture their imagination, encourage loyalty and ring up more high profit margin sales. That’s why operators are upgrading to cutting-edge beverage dispensing equipment and technology that offers patrons the refreshing and flavorful beverages they crave while keeping quality high and labor costs in check.

Key innovations in play:

  • A next-level, versatile draft tower that pours a variety of on-trend beverages at optimal serving temperatures.

  • A fountain beverage dispenser that combines fast pouring, effective video merchandising and business intelligence gathering for higher revenues.

  • A game-changing automated beverage dispensing system for quick-service restaurants that fills, seals, labels and organizes beverage cups, slashing labor and boosting the speed and accuracy of carryout and delivery orders.

Top draft choice

Operators can please customers thirsting for on-trend beverages by offering them an impressive beverage menu served on kōld-Draw™ Draft Systems by Lancer™ Worldwide.

This draft system pours more than beer, too; it can also pour a wide array of on-trend beverages—wine, batched cocktails, cold brew and nitro coffee, tea and kombucha, just to name a few. It does so with optimum temperature control and greater efficiency and flexibility than competing systems.

The heart of the kōld-Draw difference is its patented modular cold block design, which flows cold glycol through embedded channels for 360-degree cooling. This ensures every drink is poured at the right temperature every time. It also uses energy more efficiently and permits quick assembly and changeover of beverages on the draft tower. This is vital for satisfying fast-changing customer tastes.

“It is very standard in the industry now to serve draft wine on a draft beer tower,” says Phillip Ogle, Director of Sales at Lancer™ Worldwide. “kōld-Draw also answers other common operator ‘asks’ such as running kombucha or coffee on the tower as well, due to its modular design.”

Fountain of revenue

The new IBD Bold 30i™ dispenser by Lancer™ Worldwide promises greater success with fountain beverages, a crucial profit center for many operations. IBD Bold 30i pours up to 24 brands, 16 chilled and eight ambient, from a small 30-inch footprint. The unique positioning of beverage and ice dispense points boosts customer throughput. A large digital touchscreen merchandiser with 32 inches of high-resolution display offers space for operators to show programmable content, limited time offer promotions, and brand enhancements.

What’s more, IBD Bold 30i features the Lancer Link™ IoT (Internet of Things) platform, which collects and analyzes robust, real-time fountain performance data. This allows operators to study brand performance on a location-by-location basis for greater profitability. “Lancer Link™ helps you make the right decisions to drive different markets,” says Blaine Berr, Director of Sales at Lancer Worldwide. “The flexibility to readjust and realign what you sell is vital to operators.”

Robot at your service

Enhanced functionality will come to the fore of the quick-service restaurant industry in a new automated beverage dispenser being built by veteran beverage dispensing manufacturer Lancer Worldwide and Miso Robotics, an artificial intelligence technology company.

“Miso Robotics and Lancer™ saw the need for beverage automation in the commercial kitchen—an area of order completion that has long been plagued with inefficiency as workers look to navigate compact, fast-paced kitchens and unpredictable order volume during shifts,” says a Miso Robotics press statement.

The automated beverage dispenser will be a solution for an industry increasingly relying on drive-thru, takeout and delivery service and wrestling with severe labor shortages. It will integrate with a restaurant’s point-of-sales system when an order comes in, select the correct cup sizes, pour precise amounts of ice and beverage, seal the cups and finally organize them according to the order so pickup or delivery is quick and accurate.

“Order fulfillment is a major factor for customer satisfaction, and operators can't afford to have a beverage left behind when a delivery driver or customer visits,” says Jake Brewer, Chief Strategy Officer of Miso Robotics, in the statement. “We are extremely excited to create a product that will not only make the lives of those working in commercial kitchens better, but also will be a game changer for the industry as a whole to deliver a world-class customer experience.”
