KFC’s latest merch partnership is with Corkcicle

The collection includes tumblers, canteens, and an ice bucket inspired by the brand’s signature fried chicken bucket

KFC has launched another new merchandise collection, this time in partnership with Corkcicle, an award-winning drinkware company that was once on “Oprah’s Favorite Things” list. The brands have created a series of limited-edition drinkware, such as tumblers and canteens, and an ice bucket that can double as a hot chicken bucket. The collection, featuring KFC’s branding, is available now on corkcicle.com while supplies last.

“We’re delighted to partner with KFC to bring our customers something like we’ve never done before that is truly special,” Corkcicle co-founder and co-chief executive officer Stephen Bruner said in a statement. “KFC is an iconic global brand that everyone has some connection to. It has been a blast to create some very fun products in bringing our two brands together for this collab.”

The KFC x Corkcicle collection features:

  • KFC x Corkcicle Cruiser: The companies said this triple-insulated tumbler can keep drinks cold for up to 20 hours. It includes a straw top and comfort-grip handle, and it is printed with a fried chicken pattern. It is listed for $49.95.
  • KFC x Corkcicle Canteen: This leakproof canteen keeps beverages cold for up to 25 hours and features a fried chicken pattern, a quick sip cap, and a folding handle. It is listed for $44.95.
  • KFC x Corkcicle Ice (or hot chicken) Bucket: This ice bucket is designed to keep ice for 48 hours (or fried chicken hot) and is inspired by KFC’s iconic fried chicken bucket. It is listed for $129.95.

This is the latest partnership for KFC, which dropped new t-shirts and hats in partnership with apparel and accessories brand Life Is Good Company in April, followed by a BoxLunch merch line in July. KFC launched its KFCShop.com site last year, featuring apparel and accessories. It has also included a limited-time collaboration with Kentucky-based sunglass brand Shady Rays, seasonal collections, and more.

Several restaurant brands have jumped into merchandising in the past several years to raise brand awareness and generate additional revenue. Since 2019, brands like Chipotle, El Pollo Loco, McDonald’s, Chili’s, Velvet Taco, and Denny’s have opened online merch stores. This year, Shake Shack, Jimmy John’s, Arby’s, Sonic, Dunkin’, White Castle, and Chick-fil-A have all introduced new merch lines.
