Denny's is offering rewards members a free Cookies 'N' Scream Shake with a burger purchase through Sept. 6.Denny's Corp.

Denny’s Corp., the family dining brand, is offering rewards members incentives to try the new “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” menu as the movie sequel opens in theaters.

The Spartanburg, S.C.-based chain, which is using the movie to reintroduce its $2-$4-$6-$8 Value Menu, is offering loyalty members a free Cookies ‘N’ Scream Shake with the purchase of a Beetlejuicy Burger for dine-in or to go through Sept. 6. The Cookies ‘N’ Scream Shake and Beetlejuicy Burger are part of Denny’s limited-time Afterlife Menu, which is inspired by the “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” movie. The menu also includes the Afterlife Melt and Say It Three Times Slam.

“This was a value platform unique to Denny's that launched years ago to amazing results, and it's a unique equity only we have,” Kelli Valade, Denny’s CEO and president, said during the company's latest earnings call last month.

The company in 2020 brought back the $2-$4-$6-$8 platform to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Valade added that, in tests, the return of the $2-$4-$6-$8 menu led consumers to make “a special visit to Denny's due to positive perceptions around variety, relative value, and the inclusion of fresh, high-quality ingredients.”

The Beetlejuice-inspired menu items are available through Oct. 29.
