New Orleans-based chain serves up American fare with a twist

Zea Rotisserie & Grill, which offers American standards with Asian twists in a polished setting, has grown steadily in Louisiana and Alabama since its founding in 1997.
The New Orleans-based company in February opened its 11th unit in Slidell, La., and is eyeing additional locations in Louisiana and neighboring Texas.
Zea debuted in 1997, the creation of three chef partners who had worked together on the Semolina pasta concept.
