Burger King’s owner is being sued over its Carrols acquisition. Four shareholders, including a pension fund, have sued Restaurant Brands International in a Delaware court, arguing that the company coerced Carrols into accepting a below-market deal.

Restaurants walloped by Hurricane Milton may have to wait awhile for help from the SBA. As expected, the Small Business Administration has run out of funds to loan operators who need money to rebuild or cover their losses during the storm.

Subway will be adding a spicy ghost pepper bread, the first change in its bread lineup in three years, the company said Wednesday. The quick-service restaurant brand, which divides headquarters between Shelton, Conn., and Miami, said the artisan Italian bread is coated in ghost pepper, habanero and paprika-seasoned panko breadcrumbs, topped with Monterey cheddar cheese and pickled jalapeño slices.

Taco Bell tapped three emerging chefs to create new iterations of its fan-favorite Crunchwrap Supreme. The chefs infused their creations with Indian, Thai and Southwest chicken flavors, reflecting their family backgrounds, food memories and locales.
