Domino’s Pizza announced that the pizza chain is adding macaroni and cheese bowls to the menu for the fall starting Sept. 23, available in both Five-Cheese and Spicy Buffalo varieties. Although the Ann Arbor, Mich.-based pizza brand has had pasta on the menu for quite some time, with options like Chicken Alfredo and Italian Sausage Marinara, this is the first time Domino’s has put macaroni and cheese bowls on its menu.

"Domino's is continuing to innovate with intent and expand our menu with additions that cater to what our customers want," Kate Trumbull, Domino's senior vice president and chief brand officer, said in a statement. "Our new Mac & Cheese dishes are sure to satisfy any craving – whether they're enjoyed as a meal or shared with family and friends. There is nothing like the comfort of Domino's Mac & Cheese on a crisp fall day, so grab a cozy blanket, curl up, and savor every warm bite of cheesy deliciousness."

The Five-Cheese Mac & Cheese option is oven-baked and made with penne pasta, with a blend of cheddar, American, Parmesan-Asiago, mozzarella blend cheeses, and Alfredo sauce. The Spicy Buffalo variety is the same menu item but with Buffalo sauce drizzled on top. Customers can also upgrade their cheesy dishes by adding jalapenos or bacon for 99-cents each.

Domino’s is also introducing two deals to entice customers to try the new macaroni and cheese items: a Mix & Match Deal where customers can order any two or more menu items (including Mac & Cheese) for $6.99 each, and Domino's Rewards members can redeem 60 points for a free order of Mac & Cheese.

Menu innovation is part of the Domino’s “Hungry for More” strategy introduced at the end of 2023, which has also seen the pizza chain introduce other new menu items like New York-Style, made with thinner crust and a provolone cheese blend.
