Joe Christina will oversee all of the chain’s domestic restaurant operations

Church’s Chicken has named Joe Christina executive vice president of U.S. operations, the company said Tuesday.

Christina will be responsible for all of Church’s restaurant operations in the United States. He will report directly to Jim Hyatt, president and chief executive of Church’s Chicken.

“Joe is the ultimate restaurant operations leader who truly knows the importance of providing exceptional brand experiences for our customers and our restaurant teams,” Hyatt said in a statement.

Hyatt added that he and Christina have similar backgrounds in the quick-service restaurant industry and have both owned and operated their own restaurants.

Christina said that in his new role, “our focus is about providing our customers with exceptional service and great food each time they visit. I feel confident that together, our teams’ efforts and achievements will make our customers proud of their neighborhood Church’s Chicken restaurant.”

Christina was most recently senior vice president for Burger King’s restaurant franchise operations for its North America Western division.

Atlanta-based Church’s Chicken has more than 1,700 locations in more 25 nations and systemwide sales of more than $1 billion.
