TAMPA Fla. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, the 267-unit sports pub chain based here, has named Ad Partners of Tampa its media agency, with responsibility for handling placement of television, radio and newspaper ads and direct mail in 60 markets, officials said late last week.

Ad Partners succeeds Doner Advertising of Southfield, Mich.

The Hardee Group of Tampa continues as Beef ‘O’ Brady’s creative agency.

“Ad Partners is retail focused, has extensive restaurant chain experience, and really understands how to work with a franchisee-based organization,” said Julie Thomas, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s vice president of marketing, referring to Ad Partners’ previous work with the heavily franchised Sonny’s Bar-B-Q chain of Maitland, Fla.

For the year ended in December, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s had systemwide sales of $217.1 million from four company-operated and 262 franchised restaurants.
