Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Inc. was recently taken private by L Catterton in a $650 million transaction, but immediately agreed to sell its legacy brands, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House and Del Frisco’s Grille, to the Landry’s affiliate of Fertitta Entertainment Inc. That deal, when completed, will leave L Catterton with the Bartaco and Barcelona Wine Bar chains acquired by Del Frisco’s last year. Average quarterly same-store sales changes by brand across the four quarters, ended June 25, were Double Eagle, -1.1%; Del Frisco’s Grille, -0.4%; Bartaco, 1.7%; and Barcelona Wine Bar, 2.6%.
