Raising Cane’s teams again with singer Post Malone for Cowboys restaurant

Football-themed unit to open Thursday in Dallas with a true-blue theme

Raising Cane’s is expanding its design partnership with singer Post Malone, opening a Dallas Cowboys-themed restaurant this week in Dallas.

The Baton Rouge, La.-based chicken finger brand, which has corporate offices in Dallas, in April teamed with Malone to design a Raising Cane’s restaurant near his home in Midvale, Utah. In July, the company expanded its partnership with the “Rockstar” singer with a line of limited-edition collectors’ cups.

The Texas-raised Malone has links to both Raising Cane’s and the Cowboys. He said in a statement: “Growing up in Dallas, I’ve been a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Cane’s since I was a kid, so it is an honor to be part of this collaboration with two of the greatest franchises in history.”

The Post Malone x Dallas Cowboys-themed restaurant in Dallas features a 32-foot-tall Cowboy’s star at the drive-thru entrance, a silver-wrapped exterior and a Cowboys blue interior with mementos from the singer’s concerts and videos.

The restaurant in northwest Dallas pays homage to moments in Post and Cowboys’ history through interior and exterior art and displays, including a custom silver vinyl wrap on the restaurant exterior, silhouettes of Post’s signature on-stage moments, blue lighting throughout the interior, Dallas Cowboys memorabilia, a suit of armor and a vending machine featuring exclusive merchandise.

In a statement, Jerry Jones, owner, president and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, said: “We’re very proud to be part of this innovative new store and concept and seeing that big Cowboys star in position to greet everyone will be a great reminder and reflection of how much we value and celebrate our continued collaboration.”

Malone’s friendship with Todd Graves, founder of Raising Cane’s, included the earlier Utah restaurant.

“No restaurant brand has collaborated with a global superstar and sports team on this level, and to see it come to life has been a great experience,” Graves said. “Post and the Cowboys have loyal fanbases and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to this restaurant that Austin [Post Malone’s given name] designed, whether they’re grabbing a bite before a game or after a show, or any time they’re in the mood for a box combo.”

Even the restaurant’s logo has been themed, with Raising Cane’s classic red version replaced by a blue Post Malone x Dallas Cowboys’ logo on the building and pole signs.

The interior features a vending machine for such items as socks, drink sleeves, hats, key chains, magnets, t-shirts and pins.

Raising Cane’s has more than 750 restaurants in 35 states, the Middle East and Guam.
