LAKE FOREST Calif. Johnny Rockets has added a spicy burger with jalapeños and pepper jack cheese to its permanent menu.
Called The Houston, the burger had been tested as a limited-time offer and now has been added to the 280-unit diner chain's new menu, which is in the process of being rolled out.
The Houston also has iceberg lettuce, tomato and the chain’s spicy sauce. Its menu price ranges from $6.99 to $8.99, depending on the market, according to a company spokeswoman.
